The doshas are elemental energies in nature which combine to perform all of the bodily functions within the body. Ayurveda, an ancient form of holistic medicine practiced in India for over 5,000 years – says that the ultimate key to one’s physical, mental and spiritual well-being lies in understanding the doshas, and acting in harmony with them.
No two people are made alike. As everyone is created as a unique manifestation of spirit, as well as different genetics and tendencies, the doshas will predominate themselves in a very different way for everyone.
Through this workshop, you will learn:
-What are the doshas
-The difference between prakruti (doshas at time of birth) and vikruti (current state of the doshas)
-How changing seasons, weather patterns, and climate can affect the state of your doshas
-What are the doshas currently affecting you
-Basic tools, such as diet and lifestyle exercises to live in harmony with your doshas
